Police need your help as they search for a man who posed as a Verizon worker, entered a Hudson Valley woman's home, attacked her and stole from her.

The New York State Police in Wappinger are investigating a robbery that occurred on Thursday around 11 a.m. on Scarborough Lane in the Town of Wappinger.

An investigation revealed an unknown middle-aged man approximately 5'7" with an average build, short dark hair, wearing a dark gray short sleeved button down shirt, blue pants and dark shoes came to the home posing as a Verizon employee.

He reportedly did not display any credentials but told the resident that he had a “special upgrade package” to offer.

The man then entered the home, pushed the victim and stole her wallet, police say.
