A Queens man allegedly arranged for two young women to have sex with a number of Hudson Valley residents for money.

Last week, members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop on Bucks Hollow Road in the Mahopac area of the Town of Carmel.

The driver, 42-year-old Leonardo Martinez of Queens was driving without a license and in possession of cocaine, police say.

Two women, ages 23 and 28, were also in the car. Police allege Martinez arranged for the women to have sex with a number of people from Putnam and Westchester counties in exchange for money.

Martinez was charged with promoting prostitution, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Martinez was remanded to Putnam County Correctional Facility on $15,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.

The police investigation is on-going with more charges possible, officials say.
