You don’t have much time to head to a spot in the Hudson Valley that “makes you feel like you’ve stepped through a magical wardrobe.”

That’s how onlyinyourstate.com describes the Kaaterskills Falls on the eastern Catskill Mountains in Greene County.

“Frozen over and enchanting as ever, you’ll want to make a trip to this one waterfall while you still can,” the website writes about the Katterskills Falls

The website says once you follow an easy trail and reach the Kaaterskills Falls you’ll find what looks like a scene from the hit Disney movie, “Frozen.”

“Surrounding the base of the waterfall it'll appear as though Queen Elsa herself made a trip here, with the spray from the falls turning everything in close proximity to ice,” the website said.

If you want to check out a view that makes you feel like you’ve stepped “through a door to another world,” you’ll have to go fast, before the spring temperatures melt the frozen scene.

If you do head to the Kaaterskills Falls, please follow the rules of posted signs and use caution!

Last summer, a teen from New Jersey and a 30-year-old from Orange County slipped and fell to the their deaths, in separate accidents, while hiking at the falls.

If you do miss your shot at seeing the falls in its frozen state, don’t worry it’s still a beautiful view during the warmer months!

The sudden closure of a popular buffet, a local heading to the NBA and a wanted Hudson Valley sex offender tops this week in local news stories.
