Harley-Davidson has announced a major recall of approximately 46,000 motorcycles.  The cause? The bike could stay in gear, when attempting to disengage the clutch. Gas bubbles affect the clutch master cylinder and could cause the rider to lose control and crash, especially if the bike had been stationary for long periods of time.

The recall affects the following models from 2014 and 2015:

  • Electra Glide
  • Ultra Limited
  • Police Electra Glide
  • Street Glide
  • Road Glide
  • Road King

Fox News reports the problem was found through complaints from customers. If you have a problem visit one of the esteemed Hudson Valley Harley dealers and they'll flush the clutch and rebuild the master cylinder for you.
