The Hudson Valley is now home to one of the world's leading luxury hotel chains, as a multi-million dollar renovation was finally unveiled this weekend.

Starwood Hotels, which manages Sheraton, Westin, W, Aloft and other luxury hotels has completed their upgrade of the old Comfort Inn in Newburgh and have now opened the brand new Four Points by Sheraton Newburgh.

According to the website, the new hotel will offer amenities that are usually not seen in our area:

Whether you’re here for business or leisure, you’ll find plenty to do. Make time for a workout in our state-of-the-art fitness center, or take a dip in our outdoor pool, which is also great for children’s birthday parties. Meet up with family, friends, or colleagues at the Lakeside Bar and Grill and choose from comfort foods and local craft beers. Wake up with a fresh brew from our coffee bar. Or stay in and order room service at breakfast or dinner. The hotel’s two modern function venues can host up to 100 people, and our business center provides support services.

Examiner reports that the hotel complex will include 124 completely renovated guestrooms, a new two-story open lobby including a library, gift shop and business center. The restaurant and bar will offer a full menu with local craft beers that can be enjoyed inside or near the outside fire pit.

Rates for next weekend start at $235 per night and go up to $333 depending on the package and room selected.
