The Hudson Valley is being asked to share any information they may have about a car that police say was involved in a hit-and-run accident with a packed school bus.

The Times Herald Record reports that Chester police are looking for a Honda sedan that they believe hit a school bus near Brookside and Academy in the Village of Chester.

The incident took place around 2:30pm on Thursday afternoon. Chester fire Chief Bob Favara told The Times Herald Record that luckily, no children were hurt in the incident.

There have been other strange incidents involving school busses this year. In September a homeless man was found sleeping on an Ulster County School Bus. In January a student in Freemont was dragged almost a half-mile after their backpack got caught in the bus door. More recently, a bus in Pennsylvania carrying 9 children crashed into a home. Luckily, the kids and homeowners were all unharmed
