Local Restaurants Recognized As The Best In New York State

While these sort of lists are always a matter of opinion, it was cool to see the website,  Thrillist give some recognition to several area restaurants in their Best New York Restaurants Outside of New York City (or The Hamptons) piece. Many times the restaurants of the Five Boroughs will overshadow the other great places to dine in the rest of New York State. Congrats to Poughkeepsie's own Brasserie 292, as well as Westchester's Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Hudson's Fish and Game, and Woodstock's Bear Cafe for receiving a mention. Again, this is all opinion, as we're sure we can all name some other great places to eat in the Hudson Vallay, and across of the state, that didin't get mentioned (Hey, Mountain Brauhaus in Gardiner!) but it's still pretty none the less.
