Local Radio DJs Sample Wing Wars Offerings

One of the hardest things about working on a morning radio show is the extreme early hours. Then there's the issue with being told to eat delicious chicken wings.

O.K., that's not really a problem at all! On Wednesday Smoky Rock BBQ and The Derby stopped by Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley with samples of the wings they’ll be bringing to the Mid-Hudson Civic Center on Saturday for Wing Wars.

All this week, DJs from Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley are taste testing wings in advance of Wing Wars for a special DJ’s Choice Award. On Tuesday, WPDH’s Meat Sandwich, WRRV’s Deuce, The Wolf’s C.J. and Mix 97.7’s Mark Bolger tried out a handful of wings from The Derby and Smoky Rock.
