State Police have arrested a Port Ewen man for endangering the welfare of a child, and felony drug, and weapons possession. 

State Police responded to a 911 call about a partially naked 2 year old child wondering around in the area of Route 9W in Port Ewen, NY. Following an investigation, police determined that the child was  the 3 year old daughter of Lashawn J. Brickhouse. At the time, Brickhouse was asleep, until he was summoned to answer the door by police.

Brickhouse was initially arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child , a class A misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana , a violation. However, police obtained a search warrant for Brickhouse's residence and discovered approximately 2 pounds of marijuana and an assault rifle, both of which were found to be unlawfully possessed by Brickhouse.

Brickhouse was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, both Felonies. Brickhouse was arraigned before Judge Grieco of Esopus Court and remanded to Ulster County Jail on $10,000 cash/ $20,000 bond.

Brickhouse is due back in court May 31st.
