Local Fundraiser To Benefit Pleasant Valley Days

A fundraiser has begun in support of Pleasant Valley Days which is scheduled for September 16th-18th. This year's event will feature parades, music, food, a fireworks show and much more.

The event is largely staffed by volunteers but there is a large expense for rides, security and the fireworks show. A Go Fund Me page has been started and they're already 1/5 of the way to their goal, but any donation big or small will go a long way in helping to keep this family friendly event going.

The action continues all weekend with rides in the park from Shamrock Amusements. There will be a talent show, dunking booth and duck races too. The Pleasant Valley Parade is scheduled for Sunday at 1pm. The fireworks show will happen at dusk later in the day. All in all, it sounds like a fun weekend.
