I don't think a day goes by that I am not reminded of how rich in art the Hudson Valley is. Need I tell you about all the talented musicians that have made our area their home?  And with scenery like we have here in the Hudson Valley, who wouldn't want to put it on canvas?

This Saturday, Feb. 4, you can actually interact with some of those great artists. Thirty artists from The Wallkill River School, 232 Ward Street in Montgomery, invite the public to join them for an open house from 5 - 7 pm.  The artists will be painting and demonstrating different techniques including traditional oil painting, acrylic, pastels, water colors, portraits, and more.  There will also be drinks and hors d'oeurvres served while you mingle and interact with the artists.

The artists exhibit is free and open to the public from noon - 6 pm Monday through Saturday for the month of February.  For more information visit WallkillRiverSchool.com or call (845)457-ARTS.
