We've subjected our coworkers to some pretty nasty taste tests, but none of them has ever had as much of a violent reaction from the WPDH staff as this one has.

Lay's Potato Chips is conducting their yearly "Do us a Flavor" campaign, where they release four new potato chip flavors into the wild and let America decide which one is the best. This year's twist, however, is that Lay's is not telling us what any of the flavors are.

There is a giant vending machine that has been set up in downtown L.A. called the "mystery machine" that is dispensing the four mystery flavors to unsuspecting chip lovers. It's up to them to not only decide if they taste good, but what the flavor their eating actually is.

While Lay's won't reveal the actual flavors until the end of July, but we already have our own theories. Number one may be some sort of seafood chip, seasoned with Old Bay. Number four is most likely a fettuccine alfredo chip and number three is possibly some sort of tomato, chicken and cheese combination.

Mystery chip number two, however, not only has us stumped but also terribly grossed out. Watch below as we taste the most disgusting chip known to mankind live on the air, and have our office staff try and guess what it is without throwing up. If you happen to somehow get your hands on a bag of number two chips, run as far away as you can... you'll thank us later.

UPDATE: On July 15 Lays finally announced what the official flavors are, and we weren't even close. Number one wasn't seafood, but Southern Biscuits and Gravy. The third chip, which we were convinced was some sort of chicken and cheese combo, was actually New York Reuben. As for fettuccine alfredo, we were completely wrong again. The fourth chip was revealed as West Coast Truffle Fries.

And what about disgusting chip number two? Well, it was Kettle Cooked Greektown Gyro. If possible, I think it might be actually better that we didn't know what flavor Lays' was attempting with that one ahead of time... Barf!

We want to know what you think about the Lay's Potato Chip campaign. Is subjecting people to gross mystery flavors a good way to sell more chips?
