Underage agents working undercover visited 35 Hudson Valley businesses selling alcohol and now seven establishments face fines for breaking the law, say police.

The sting was run by the New York State Liquor Authority and, according to The Times Herald Record, took place in the City of Middletown.

Businesses that allegedly sold alcohol to the undercover minors were Perla Escondida bar, the Mobil on the Run located at West Main Street, East and East Gas, Ginny Mart, Old World Wine, Johnny’s Service Station on West Main and the Express Mart on James Street.

The businesses face charges of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, both misdemeanors which are punishable by fines.
