Kip Winger Brings Solo Show to Poughkeepsie Saturday

Kip Winger will play The Loft (upstairs at The Chance) in Poughkeepsie this Saturday Sept. 30 at 7:30pm.

Kip Winger is singer for 80's hair metal band Winger. The band had two platinum selling albums with Winger and In the Heart of the Young and hit singles like "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak", and "Miles Away". The band had chart success in the early 1990's and were even nominated for an American Music Award for "Best New Heavy Metal Band". The band broke up after the release of their third album, 1993's Pull but eventually reunited in 2001. Winger continues to tour and record, while Kip Winger splits his time between the band and a solo career that includes with acoustic shows. Come rock out Saturday night and check out the after show party downstairs in the Nuddy Bar and Grill following the show.
