Is this for real?

Not sure anyone's feeling very romantic as they're scoffing down a greasy bucket of chicken. However, with Mother's day coming May 14, KFC has reportedly released a 96 page romance novel for moms everywhere.

Mother's Day is usually a big dinner day for families, so the fast food giant decided to cash in with some creative marketing. From ABC NY

"Tender Wings of Desire," tells the story of Lady Madeline Parker who falls in love with Harland Sanders, "a handsome sailor with a mysterious past."

I don't know. Does anyone want to actually give their mom the story of Colonel Sanders' love life? Sounds kind of weird.

KFC has had quite a revolving door of people playing Colonel Sanders over the past few years. Everyone from Darrell Hammond, to George Hamilton, to Rob Riggle, to Norm Macdonald, and now Rob Lowe, have stepped into the role.
