Justin Tuck says he will sign a one-day deal with the New York Giants so he can officially retire with the team he spent his first nine years with.

The NY Daily News reports that the defensive end, who retired before this year's Super Bowl, made the announcement on Thursday during a webcast on Giants.com.

The 32 year-old Tuck played the first nine years of his 11-year career with the Giants, and won two Super Bowls. Tuck registered 60½ sacks in the regular season. Tuck left New York after the 2013 season and signed a two year deal with the Oakland Raiders.

The NFL offseason officially opens on March 9, which will allows organizations to sign one-day deals.
