In one of the more high profile cases the Hudson Valley has seen in recent years, a jury has been selected and will decide the fate of Kenneth Stahli. He is accused of second degree murder in the death of 2-year-old Mason DeCosmo.

The Daily Freeman reports five men and seven women will sit on the jury when the case begins Wednesday morning. The jurors all reside in Ulster County.

Prosecutors allege DeCosmo was abused for as much as two weeks leading up to his death. Experts have identified as many as 60 bruises covering the boys body, including some internal injuries.

The trial which is expected to last into next week, is scheduled to begin with opening statements Wednesday at 10am.
