Artists, creatives, and the public are invited to participate in Jack-O+-Lanterns, a Halloween celebration of the Kingston area's creativity and commitment to wellness for all, tomorrow, October 27.

Jack-O+-Lanterns is both an art pumpkin show and a community pumpkin carving and decorating contest, to benefit two not-for-profit organizations which integrate wellness with the arts: O Positive Festival and Seed Song Center. Local and chemical-free pumpkins for the event are available at Seed Song Farm, 160 Esopus Avenue, Kingston or at the Kingston Farmers Market on October 27.

No registration is necessary to enter a pumpkin in the Prize Contest category.
Pumpkins may be dropped off for judging at the display areas outside the Old Dutch Church between 9am and 2pm, or at My Kingston Kids' free Halloween Fest at Seed Song Farm between 3pm and 6pm, where all prizewinners will be announced at 7pm prior to the lighting of the giant bonfire sculpture finale.
