If you rob five banks in one day and all you walk away with is less than $500 dollars then maybe you should seek a new line of work. That's what happened in New York City just this last Saturday. A man believed to be around 30 years old, stocky, and wearing a Cincinnati Reds hat allegedly tried to rob five area banks in roughly about three and half hours. He is said to have entered the banks with a note demanding money. He walked out completely empty handed  from a Washington Heights Bank of America and a Washington Heights Capitol One, He was able to get $50 from a Chase Bank on Columbus Ave, but then came away with nothing from a Citi Bank at Columbus Circle. His fortunes did turn around a bit once he headed for The Bronx and nabbed $399 from a Chase Bank on E. Fordham Road, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
