The NY Yankees $153 million (oops, I said 155 on the air today) dollar pitching acquisition showed up the Boston Red Sox offense last night, leading the Yanks to a 9-3 win at Fenway. Tanaka pitched 7 and a third innings, allowing only 2 runs, striking out seven, while walking no one. So far, Tanaka is 3-0 with a 2.15 ERA and has pitched well, but can he become the Major League star Yankees fans have hoped for?

Can he consistently perform for an entire MLB season?

Okay, if that was a bit long and hard to understand then here's a montage of some of his highlights from Japan.
