A man from Iowa Was arrested on Wednesday after the Secret Service found a rifle, ammunition, and a knife in his car that was near the White House.

It was confirmed by the Secret Service that R.J. Kapheim, 41, of Davenport, Iowa was arrested, and charged with possession of an unregistered firearm.

Kapheim apparently approached officers Wednesday afternoon, and told them that "someone" from Iowa told him to drive to the White House, so he did.

When the officers located his vehicle thats where they found the rifle, at least 40 rounds of ammunition, and a 6-inch fixed blade knife.

There are still charges pending against Mr. Kapheim.

This event follows a string of security breaches at the White House.
