Slowly but surely the Hudson Valley is getting with the times.

It's 2018 and we finally have ride sharing apps like Uber and Lyft. While that's all well and great, we're still patiently waiting for Uber Eats or Postmates that will deliver groceries, drinks and take out foods right to our door.

While we wait for Uber Eats to make its arrival in the Hudson Valley one lucky town will be able to get their groceries delivered.

InstaCart.Com will be available to over 50,000 customers in the Monroe area starting April 19. Shoppers for InstaCart can have groceries delivered from BJ Wholesale Club and CVS in under one hour.

In addition to Monroe, InstaCart services will be available in other Hudson Valley towns such as Mountainville, West Point, Kipps, Salisbury Mills, New Windsor, Warwick, Bellvale, New Milford, Amity,  Goshen, Howell, Campbell Hall, Hamptonburgh, Rock Tavern, Little Britain, Walton Park, Vails Gate, West Cornwall, and South Blooming Grove.

InstaCart is also bringing over 100 jobs to the area.
