A Hudson Valley law enforcement training group is giving us a look at how they train officers to drive police vehicles in emergency situations and it's awesome.

Did you ever wonder how police officers learn to maneuver their vehicles and drive safely during car chases? The Ulster County Law Enforcement Training Group has given us a peek at a course they give field officers on how to control their police cars in high pressure situations.

In an aerial video shared on their Facebook page, we can watch as an officer in training is put through an intense obstacle course. The Emergency Vehicle Operations Course, or EVOC, was captured by a drone hovering over the area.

As the video rolls you can see an officer driving his police car through a series of tests. Cones are laid out in sharp turns, circular patterns and tight patterns that need to be driven through at high speeds, sometimes both forward and backwards.

The driver on this particular run did better than we ever could, even though they did wind up knocking over several cones. How do you think you'd do driving the same course? Do you think you could pass the EVOC?
