CBS NY is reporting that Yankees first baseman Dustin Ackley is done for the season.

New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi said Ackley suffered a torn right labrum on a slide Sunday against Tampa Bay. While Ackley hasn't produced much this season, the injury cuts further into the Bronx Bomber's depth issues at first base.

Mark Teixeira has had issues concerning his neck. Prospect Greg Bird is already out for the year after undergoing season-ending surgery on a torn labrum in February.

This is just another issue for a team that has suffered enough with injuries, inconsistent pitching, and lack of offense all season.

The Yankees were swept in their series with the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday night, losing 7-0.
