Family Services has been helping families and individuals in the Hudson Valley for over 135 years. At Family Services, their mission is to help families and individuals help themselves through direct services, collaboration, and advocacy.

This week on In Touch, our guest is Brian Doyle, Chief Executive Officer of Family Services. Brian was in a few months ago with Pam Tarquinio, Development Officer of Family Services to talk about their annual event ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’. The International Men’s March to stop rape, sexual assault, and gender violence. Each year this event gets bigger and better and helps raise much needed funds.

On this week's show, Brian talked about the many programs Family Services offers such as youth and family programs, community safety programs, and more. However, he focused on the new Center for Victim Safety and Support. While the hotline for Rape, Crisis, and Crime victims remains 845-452-7272 and the Domestic violence hotline is still 845-485-5550, these two programs have been combined to provide support and help for victims.

As Brian speaks about in this week's show, the staff is well trained and passionate about they do, and this will enable them to do it better and to help even more individuals who find themselves with their world turned upside down.
