The New York Statewide Senior Action Council and the Marist College Junior Social Work Class of 2019 is hosting a discussion with Senator Sue Serino, Todd Tancredi, the director for the Office for the Aging and other guest speakers this Wednesday, April 11 at 3:30 pm at the Boardman Road Branch Library at 141 Boardman Road in Poughkeepsie.

The discussion will address issues facing seniors in our community including budget proposals that affect our senior citizens, local services, and any questions you may have. The public, especially seniors, is invited to this informal discussion which will be held in an open forum.

There is free off-street parking and refreshments will be served. If you or a loved one have a lot of questions about growing older in the Hudson Valley, this is a great opportunity for you to get the answers you need to be comfortable and confident about becoming a senior citizen.
