If you like beer or hard cider in your ice cream, then you'll be happy to know that the NY state Senate passed a bill Thursday that allows the sale of ice cream made with both types of alcohol.

New York already had allowed for wine to be used as an ingredient. LoHud says that the new bill would allow for up to 5% alcohol by volume.

Now, all Governor Andrew Cuomo has to do is sign the bill into law.

People under 21 would not be allowed to purchase the beer or hard cider mixed ice cream, LoHud also says that the product has to be labeled with warning statements like other products that contain alcohol.
