How about the late fall-like temperatures Monday morning? Lows dipped in to the mid to low 30s across the Hudson Valley!

As for the rest of Monday, meteorologists say it will start out sunny and pleasant across the area, but rain is on the way.

Forecasters say that clouds will start moving into the region by Monday afternoon with rain possible overnight. Highs should be in the low 70s, with lows in the upper 50s to near 60.

Things should clear up for Tuesday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70s.

The clear weather won't last for long as clouds will return to the region, bringing a chance of rain by Wednesday evening.

The rain will stick around through the rest of the week, providing some much needed relief for the drought stricken area. Highs will be in the 70s with lows in the 50s.

Some of the showers could be heavy which is great news for everyone who's tired of looking at dried up yellow grass.
