A woman from Dutchess County is suing a popular beauty care company for what she says is false advertising.

Legal NewsLine is reporting that Hudson Valley resident, Marcella Jacobs, has filed a class action lawsuit against Camilla Rose Naturals. The company sells hair care products in major retailers across the country.

According to the lawsuit, Jacobs says she was fooled into buying the products thinking they were all natural. After paying a premium for the items the plaintiff says she found out the expensive hair care products were not actually all natural as the name implies.

Camilla Rose Naturals' website displays a promise to their customers that states,

You can trust Camille Rose Naturals to source ingredients with integrity, to mix with a pinch of love, and to always consider your total health and wellness.

"Integrity" and a "pinch of love" sound nice, but that doesn't exactly say the ingredients are natural as the product line's name suggests.Perhaps this lawsuit has a little more chance of success than the woman from Hopewell Junction who's suing KFC for $20 million because she says her bucket of chicken was too small.

Jacobs is seeking a trial by jury and hopes to receive monetary compensation for her damages. The woman is being represented by Jason P. Sultzer, Joseph Lipari and Adam Gonnelli from The Sultzer Law Group PC in Poughkeepsie.
