Veteran's Day is Sunday, November 11, and a nationwide restaurant chain is going all out to help those men and women who have served.

Applebee's will once again deliver on their promise to serve one million meals to active or retired military personal here in the Hudson Valley, and across the nation this Veteran's Day. There will be eight dishes on the menu vets can choose from.

For the 11th year, all veterans and active duty military are invited to visit their local Applebee's® on Veterans Day to enjoy a free full-size entrée from a selection of eight fan favorites.

If you or someone who know have served, stop by an Applebee's location in Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Kingston, Middletown, Woodbury, Hawthorne, or White Plains this Sunday and enjoy a free meal.

With the holidays coming up, we sometimes forget just how many U.S. personal are currently serving across the world. Many of which won't get the chance to see their families this Thanksgiving or Christmas. Wikipedia says that there are approximately 170,000 active-duty personal across the world (with over 11,000 still in Afghanistan).
