Hudson Valley Valvoline Burglarized by Employee, Police Say

A Dutchess County man is facing multiple felonies after he allegedly burglarized a Hudson Valley Valvoline. 

On January 17, 2018 at approximately 5:40 a.m. State Police were dispatched to Valvoline garage on Route 9 in the town of Wappingers for a report of a burglary in progress.

An investigation revealed that Daniel P. Lorenzini, age 29, of Fishkill, who worked at the garage was inside illegally.

He also allegedly damaged a door and additional property attempting to leave after being observed by the plow contractor.

Lorenzini was arraigned in the Village of Wappingers Falls Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.

He is scheduled to return to court this week.
