So Bermudez has always worn a similar mouthguard, even working the fangs into his website logo.

Besides his choice in mouthpieces, Bermudez also says he's motivated by his girlfriend and two children. With his family behind him and a solid group of trainers, the Saugerties-born fighter says he'll be ready for victory when he steps into the octagon tonight.

The fight will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 tonight, February 4. The main card is scheduled for 10pm.
