What's in a name? Apparently, enough to improve economic development in one Hudson Valley town.

According to the Times Harold Record, Councilman Michael Summerfield suggest a name change for Cornwall in June. However, it's not a huge name change. Summerfield suggested that they change Cornwall to The Town of Cornwall-on-Hudson.

His argument is that the name change would be more appealing for tourism and in turn bring in money for the town. Understandably, some community members aren't thrilled with the suggestion of name change.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Right? Do you live in Cornwall? How do you feel about the possibility of a name change?
