On Tuesday night a 12-year-old girl from the Hudson Valley drew unprecedented praise from the judges of "America's Got Talent."

Grace VanderWaal from Suffern made her much-anticipated live appearance on the NBC reality show last night, winning over fans and judges alike. VanderWaal closed out the show by performing a song that she had written for her sister, titled "Beautiful Thing."

After a standing ovation the judges were unanimous in their praise for the young singer. The usually critical Simon Cowell pointed out some wrong notes she played on the ukulele, but quickly added that those imperfections along with her strained voice are what actually make her "perfect."

Howie Mandell, who previously gave VanderWaal the "golden buzzer," automatically advancing her to the quarter-finals, continued his adoration for the 12-year-old by declaring she would be the biggest star to ever come out of the show. He also mentioned how industry insiders are constantly asking about her, reenforcing his belief that she will be "even bigger than Taylor Swift" one day.

What did you think about VanderWaal's performance? Were you as blown away as the judges were? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below or on our Facebook page.
