Two Hudson Valley radio DJs have declared war. Will you choose sides?

The Boris & Robyn Show announced the return of the “Battle of the Stands.” It's an all out war to see who can raise the most money for Alex's Lemonade Stand. Last year, WPDH listeners helped the Boris & Robyn Show raise over $12,000 to help kids who are fighting childhood cancer.

With competing lemonade stands set up at the Dutchess County Fair for just six hours, WPDH listeners had a choice of donating to Team Boris or Team Robyn. After lots of trash talking and dirty tricks this ugly competition wound up doing a lot of good for Alex's Lemonade Stand.

This year, we're asking local businesses and individuals to get involved again. Some restaurants are offering special Boris or Robyn items, with proceeds going to each lemonade stand. Other stores are setting up collection boxes and encouraging their customers to help the cause.

Offices and workplaces are also getting into the battle this year by collecting spare change from employees to donate at an upcoming change drive. You can help too, just tune in to The Boris & Robyn Show every weekday morning for more details.

The final Battle of the Stands will take place at the Dutchess County Fair on Saturday, August 27. Stay tuned to find out if Boris or Robyn will raise the most money this year for Alex's Lemonade Stand.
