A Hudson Valley restaurant appears to have closed its doors for a second time.

Back in 2015, the Rabbit and Turtle Pub became a popular spot among Poughkeepsie residents. The front end of the restaraunt represented the "rabbit" by being a quick spot to grab an appetizer and a drink from their huge bar area and 10 taps, while the back was the "turtle" with a more formal, sit down dining experience.

Pascal Gaff told Hudson Valley Post at the time "I like this city. This is a city in need of something new. I saw the potential and decided this was going to be the spot." However, it wasn't. Eight months after opening, Rabbit and Turtle had closed up shop at its 302 Main Street location.

Then in March 2017, in the same location, Rabbit and Turtle gave it another shot. Fast forward a short five months later and it looks as though the Rabbit and Turtle has closed its doors again according to this photo taken by Townsquare Media contributor John "Tigman" Rutigliano:

Are you surprised Rabbit and Turtle Pub Restaurant has closed its doors a second time around?

The restaurant's phone number appears to have been disconnected. An individual who answered the phone at the leasing company number listed on the property would neither confirm nor deny that the restaurant was currently operating.

A Yelp.com user named Scott M. of Fishkill reviewed the restaurant on Saturday stating, "Appears to be closed & for lease. Tried for a late afternoon beer around 6 on a Saturday."
