Hudson Valley Prison on Lockdown

Authorities have confirmed that a local Hudson Valley prison is on lockdown. 

The Poughkeepsie Journal is reporting that Green Haven Correctional Facility is in fact locked down but is not related to the upstate prison escape. The prison is currently on a facility wide frisk and the lockdown could take up to one week.

Green Haven is located in Stormville and houses 1,944 male prisoners.
