Snow is in the forecast for Wednesday through Thanksgiving day. But just how much?

Well, The Poughkeepsie Journal is quoting Tom Wasula from the National Weather Service in Albany as saying that we could expect at least a few inches of snow here in the Hudson Valley.

Wasula added that right now the time frame isn't entirely clear, but we should expect to see most snowfall on Wednesday with little added accumulations on Thursday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Wednesday morning into Thursday, predicting that maximum snowfall rates could reach up to 3 inches per hour and the total snowfall could be 9 inches for parts of the Hudson Valley.

With Thanksgiving being the most traveled holiday of the year, drivers are urged to stay tuned for weather updates and be prepared for winter weather before setting out to visit family and friends.
