Dressed in his USS Enterprise uniform, a local pastor gives Leonard Nimoy a eulogy.

Reverend Denes House from the New Beginnings Church in Poughkeepsie went to the internet on Friday to give a heartfelt eulogy for Leonard Nimoy, uploading his video to YouTube just hours after Nimoy's passing.

On the church's website, House calls himself "a husband, a father, a Star Trek fan."  In the video, Rev. House identifies himself as a member of the USS Henry Hudson, the new Star Trek fan club in Poughkeepsie.

In the video, House talks both about the man that Leonard Nimoy was, and the legacy he left behind playing the character of Spock on Star Trek. The reverend explains that many moral lessons were taught in Star Trek, and that Nimoy's death feels like the death of a "friend." House ends his eulogy by saying:

Today, Star Trek fans mourn with the Nimoy family and with all sorts of people all over the world... farewell Leonard Nimoy and Godspeed.
