Depending where you live, Halloween may not be on October 31 this year.

Some Hudson Valley neighborhoods are doing the unthinkable: moving Halloween.

That's right. Instead of having kids go trick-or-treating on a Tuesday night this year, some communities are rescheduling the bell-ringing for Saturday. While many parents applaud the idea, noting how difficult it is for kids to enjoy the holiday on a school night, others aren't quite sold on the move.

Some streets and small neighborhoods in the Hudson Valley have been quietly moving Halloween for years. Neighbors have decided that the Saturday of Halloween week would be the night porch lights would turn on and kids would roam the streets in their quest for peanut butter cups.

Some families, however, don't like the idea of moving Halloween. They argue that it's messing with tradition.

We want to know what you think about the movement to change Halloween to Saturday. Would you be on board with handing out candy on the weekend instead of Tuesday night this year?  Or do you think the change would just be too hard to make?
