A personal trainer from the Hudson Valley has filed a $7 million lawsuit against famous actor and producer Sylvester Stallone. According to LoHud, Rob Fletcher of Suffern has filed the suit in response to allegations Stallone stole a reality TV show concept.

Fletcher claims he developed the concept for 'America's Next Great Trainer', around 2009, he envisioned it as an 'American Idol' for trainers. Fast forward to 2014, he signed on Todd Durkin, who is a celebrity trainer, as the face of the show. He sent out demos of the show to TV producers, talent agencies and Stallone's publicist. The materials featured the tagline: 'Think Strong, Be Strong, Stay Strong'.

In 2015, Fletcher heard a new show from Stallone had been given the green light. He noticed numerous similarities between his original concept and Stallone's new show 'Strong'. He also found that Durkin, who had signed a confidentiality agreement with him, would be appearing on the new program.

A representative for NBC said the company would not comment on active legal cases. The 10 episode first season debuted in April. However, Strong does not appear as part of the the upcoming 2016-17 line-up.
