Police are trying to locate a man that ran off with a charity bucket from outside of a Hudson Valley grocery store. 

On Saturday, December 2, the Town of Wallkill police officers responded to a "larceny" call at ShopRite.

Upon arrival, officers were met by a witness, a volunteer for the Salvation Army.

According to the witness, he observed a man remove a red colored Salvation Army charity bucket, locate4d in front of ShopRite.

The bucket contained an undisclosed amount of money.

After removing the bucket, the suspect fled toward State Route 211 East.

The suspect is described as: a male white, approximately 6’ tall, heavy set, wearing a gray hood and mask.
