After a long investigation a Hudson Valley man plead guilty to stabbing his neighbor to death, while he slept, in 2011.

Jahkim McGhee, 22, of Port Chester admitted in Westchester County court he climbed through the window of Anthony Guglielmo’s home and stabbed him as he was sleeping.

According to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, in Sept. of 2011 the victim’s 14-year-old daughter called 911 to report her father was stabbed by an intruder.

Responding officers found Guglielmo lying on the floor of his living room in a massive pool of blood from an apparent stab wound to the chest. A large butcher knife was found on the floor near the victim.

Wednesday, McGhee plead guilty to 1st-degree manslaughter. As part of his plea deal, it’s expected he will be sentenced to 20 years in prison.

McGhee is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 6.
