A Hudson Valley man was found guilty of fatally shooting a man last year.

In Westchester County Court, 26-year-old Eryc Hairston, of Yonkers, was found guilty of 2nd-degree murder. Officials say on July 8, 2015 Hairston shot Kenedy Gonzalez twice, killing him.

After an intensive investigation carried out by the Yonkers Police Department, Hairston was arrested on July 27, 2015 in New York City.

Hairston was remanded to Westchester County. He faces 15 years to life in prison when sentenced on August 30.
