Hudson Valley Man Arrested for Driving 107 in 65mph Zone

The need for speed landed a local man under arrest after police say he was traveling over 40 MPH above the posted limit.

HVNN reports that Besim Ukaj from Brewster was pulled over on I-684 in the Town of Bedford after cops say they clocked him at 107 MPH. That's over 40 MPH higher than the speed limit in that area of 65.

Upon further investigation, police claim that Ukaj was intoxicated and also had LSD, Cocaine and Marijuana in his possession. Ironically, one of the only drugs he wasn't charged with holding was "speed."

Ukaj was arraigned in the Town of Bedford and charged with possession, DWI and speeding, of course. He was released on his own reco
