Hudson Valley Man Accused of Threatening Children With Sickle
Police from Rockland County are accusing a 64-year-old man with threatening a number of people, including children, with a sickle.
Saturday, Stony Point Police arrested Richard Licata, of Tompkins Cove for criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, and disorderly conduct.
Police say Licata was arrested following an investigation into a neighbor dispute in Stony Point. Licata allegedly approached and threatened several victims, including a 7 and 9-year-old, with a sickle.
Licata was released on an appearance ticket. He’s due back in Stony Point Court on July 7.
