Hudson Valley Joke Makers Get a Shot at Fame

Ten wannabe comedians from the Hudson Valley are getting a shot at the big time.

We're still on the search for the Funniest Person in the Hudson Valley and on Friday, Sept 17 you can help decide who makes it to the next round. WPDH listeners have been sending in videos of themselves telling jokes and we've asked some of the best to perform live. Ten hilarious Hudson Valley comedians will hit the stage at the Laugh It Up Comedy Club in Poughkeepsie this Friday in an attempt to win your vote.

Everyone is invited to come out for a free night of comedy and help us decide who's the funniest. Here's sample of some of the WPDH listeners who will be up on stage.

Other performers on Friday include Nick Simmons, Andy McDermott, Jacob Rosenbaum, Peter Vino and Michael Telesco. Admission is free this Friday night starting at 8pm at the Laugh It Up Comedy Club, located upstairs at Mahoney's in Poughkeepsie near the train station.
