The Marlboro High School football team made an appearance on national TV Wednesday morning.

Hudson Valley Sports Report details the Iron Dukes unique morning in New York City. The team was in town to appear on a segment for Fox News' morning show, Fox and Friends. They did drills, ran some plays and hit blocking dummies as the show's discussion revolved around college football's opening weekend.

One of Marlboro's assistant coaches, Don Presutti, works at Fox News and concocted the idea of getting the team on the bus and into the city for the show. They even made it back to the Hudson Valley for afternoon practice.

They kick off their seasons September 5th with an away game at Dover/Webutuck, game time is 1:30.
