If you tune into the live production of "Grease" tonight you may see a familiar face.

"Grease: Live!" will be broadcast tonight at 7pm on Fox. The three-hour live musical production follows in the footsteps of recent live television performances of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan and The Wiz. This show will be a little different, however, as it will also take place in front of a studio audience

Aaron Tveit, a Middletown High School graduate, will star as Danny Zuko for tonight's ambitious production. Tvelt, who was born in Middletown, graduated in 2001. At Middletown High School Tvelt played golf, soccer and baseball. The former Hudson Valley resident also got some of his early acting experience while participating in many of the school's theatrical productions.

After graduation, Tvelt attended Ithaca College where he majored musical theater. Since then the actor has appeared on Broadway and in film and television. His most prominent roles included that of Mike Warren in the TV series, Graceland and the lead role of Frank Abagnale Jr. in the Broadway production of "Catch Me If You Can." The talented performer also appeared in the film adaptation of "Les Miserables."

Tonight Tvelt will play opposite Julianne Hough, who has been cast in the role of Sandy. Vanessa Hudgens and Carly Rae Jepson are also part of the cast.
