Drivers in the Hudson Valley will be treated to free gas on Friday.

As a part of The Boris & Robyn Show's yearly "Tanksgiving" food drive, 100 cars will receive a free gas card on Friday morning in exchange for non-perishable food items. Over the years WPDH has collected thousands of pounds of food for the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and this year The Boris & Robyn Show is hoping to break all records.

The WPDH morning show will be broadcasting live on Friday, November 18 from Flory's Mobil on Route 9 in Fishkill. Starting at 7am the first 100 people who stop by with their donation to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley will receive a prepaid gas card.

Flory's is the same location where The Boris & Robyn Show offered listeners a chance to fill up for just $1.01 a gallon in February.

The amount of Americans traveling over the Thanksgiving weekend is expected to be the largest since 2007. Grabbing some free gas is a great way to prepare for your trip. At the same time Hudson Valley drivers will also be helping out a great cause.

The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley serves families in need right here in our area. You can find out more about the important work they do by visiting their website.
